What is a good brand for affordable SAS SSD's? The storage system requires SAS drives, SATA will not work.

I'm looking for 400GB or greater models. eMLC is fine.

Depends on what you mean by "affordable".

Most of the SAS SSDs I'm seeing start above $1000 for anything over 100GB and climb to "If you have to ask..." in short order.

I know, they are outrageous, thus the reason for asking :(
 
Nah, they can be found on the cheap. I even have a few listed in the FS section for nearly 1/10th that and some are SLC. Any requirements for IOPS and speeds?
