not sure where this should be posted, but since it impacts my video, im gonna put it here.whenever i have afterburner running and playing some games (ie dirt 2), i get the small stutters. if i disable it then it goes away. obviously its linked to the monitoring, and im sure the cpu takes a hit which is why i get the small stutters. since most games do not use 4 cores, im wondering if i cannot just set afterburner (or any other program) to run on one of the other cores that wouldnt be used and have it do that automatically when i launch said program. anyone know if we can do this? seems like a simple solution. i have been playing with afterburner turned off and just using the default fan speeds, but i find the cards run hotter than they should, definitely hotter than when i have afterburner running. bfbc2 would normally run my cards around 85-90c after a long session. today after about an hour with afterburner running both cards were no more than 66c. i dont want to have a set fan speed, so just turning it up in ccc is pretty useless. so can we set affinity for afterburner automatically? if anyone else has any other thoughts please add them.

I ended up just lengthening the time between monitoring updates. I found that 3 seconds works for me. As for being able to set core afinity automatically, sorry, I don't know.

hmm i might try that then. i figured the stutters would be just spaced out more, but it doesnt hurt to see if it works. thanks.
