Hi guys!

I've been messing around with AF settings in The Witcher. I first tried the in-game AF at 16x. Textures looked horrible at this setting. Then I tried forcing AF using CCC. I checked the box "Use application settings" in the CCC AF tab and set it to 16x. The textures drastically improved at this setting.
Tried checking, unchecking, checking the box just to make sure, same results.

My question is: Isn't the in-game and CCC 16x AF supposed to produce the same image quality? Does the ATI AF really produce better image quality or am I doing something wrong?

I'm not sure if you're talking about everything but I know, at least with Nvidia cards, if you didn't force AF through Nvidia's control panel the cut scenes looked terrible. For some reason the ingame settings did not change them at all.

Yeah, that happens to me, too. Well, I guess I'll just play the game with forced AF. Thanks for the reply!
