Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
ok. i just got it today. and its a little fan controller thing with a temp. monitor too. i put that temp probe on my waterblock like RIGHT NEXT to the cpu. should i get a right reading? or will it be really off?
I have the same thing. Everything is pretty accurate besides my CPU temp. The reason is because it's on my heatsink. The only way (from what I hear) to get exact readings is putting the sensor BETWEEN the socket and the cpu. Not between the HS and CPU, that'll damage it.
With my sensor on the HS, it's about 10 C's off. For example, Aerogate says it's running at 44 C's, but ASUS Probe (my temp reader) says it's 55 C's and kinda fluctuates a bit. It's normal though.
