yea i kno...it looks worse that it is/was and it was from the dam weight of the TT block...stupid thing. Card works like a champ tho.
 
i had the same problem with bending of my card due to a rivet that was easilt dremeled down. Card sits perfectly now. My digicam is charging and i will post some pics of my rig tomorrow
 
i got my case today. The top had a small dent in it near the part where it says aerocool, so i'm going to hammer that back into place.

i tested the 3 80mm fans. they are nice and quiet. the 120mm fan is pretty quiet too.


looking forward to getting my watercooling kit tomorrow. Hopefully i'll have this all done within a day or two.
 
I find that 2 80mm midspeed Scythe Fans (or their equivilent panaflows) are quieter/push more air than a 120 at the back. Course, this is because I'm running a back-to-front air setup, with the radiator fans blowing out the front of the case.
 
yeah i'll most likely replace that 120mm fan with something of my choice, but for a stock fan it's not bad. Airflow is ok, and it is quiet.
 
The rear fan that was included with the Masstige is so bright it's like staring into the sun if you're in a dark room. I replaced it with a Silverstone FN121 (also dropped a silverstone FN121 in the front mounting brackets behind the 5.25" meshes). I replaced the 80mm fans on the side with some generic Aspire fans for the time being, but they move so much more air than the older ones provided -- with the cost of a lot more noise. I'm not a silent freak, so it's not that bad for me.

I was on the verge of trying to mod a blowhole in the top but in the end I ended up experimenting with the layout a bit more after reading an article on how the Gigabyte Silent 7600GT works. The trick, at least for my setup, was to leave the top 1-2 5.25" bays unoccupied. The flow of the air across the lower portion of my case isn't in a perfect line, and the air inside the case actually seems to circle around, pulling in a bit of fresh air from an empty bay I left unoccupied. The result? My overclocked 6600GT (580/1150) idles at 46C and loads at around 54C depending on how long I've been playing. The airflow isn't perfect, and if I play for an hour or two more air seems to get trapped up in the area.

Another real quick fix would be a pci-slot exhaust blower or even just opening up a few PCI slots near the video card. I used to leave 2 PCI slots open and rigged up a 70mm fan to blow air out the hole from the video card... temperatures were maybe 2C better than with everything the way I have it now so it didn't seem to be worth it.

i was hoping that the mesh you allow for some extra airflow up top, but due to the set up i will have, i think it's still going to get really warm up there. I thought about a slot blower too, but it would just be blowing the hot air around.

i think a blowhole might be my only option. SLI just produces a ton of heat.
