Does anyone ever get this error message when playing a game:

It's annoying as it overrides fullscreen mode, and steals focus. Not good when in middle of a firefight.

I get it with a lot of recent games, Crysis, BCBF2, AvP, Dirt 2, etc. Google shows that this result can occur with both NVIDIA and ATI.

I have an ATI 5850 and Win 7 x64.

When you click on "dont ask my again" it will go away until you reboot.

ATI technical support blame Microsoft, and Microsoft tech support don't provide Windows support when you are playing a non-Microsoft game studios game (bunch of retards).

Here is a thread about it on a Microsoft forum:

It wasn't showing up before.

Hmm, I haven't seen that before. Do a clean uninstall and reinstall CCC.

I have already done that at ATI's suggestion and it didn't fix it. I get the feeling it might be a Windows 7 bug rather than a driver issue...

Thats why I asked... Maybe people haven't bothered? Also [H] guys do a lot of benchmarks with different combinations of hardware so maybe someone has seen it.
