Since I have a dual CPU setup now, I was going to run one instance of F@H without the -advmethods, -forcesse, and -forceasm flags to see what difference they make, but since one CPU appears to be going a bit faster than the other, it doesn't seem like that would be smart. :p

Does anyone have ppd calculations showing the difference between using the advanced flags and not? Say, on a PII?

I dont have any exact figures but.....

An AMD will fold a Tinker at twice the speed of a PII.
An AMD with SSE will fold a Gromac at twice the speed of a Tinker.
A PII will fold a Gromac at about the same speed as an AMD.

So your probably looking at a 100 to 200% increase in PPD if you get Gromacs.
So use the flags.

Luck........:D
