I just fixed my computer and I am very happy about that because it is good enough to last me a few years now. The only thing I need to get it to that level though is a good video card. I am a college student so I "study" (by playing computer games) a lot and need a good gaming card for that. I will be working during summertime so money isnt really an issue, but the card will have to be a single slot because I have a shuttle (ST61G4 and more specs in url in sig)
So the way I see it I have a few options:
I have pretty much decieded on an X800XT AIW because they are cheaper than normal X800XT and are pretty much the best AGP card you can get right now (besides x850 which IMO isnt worth the extra 100 dollars and 6800Ultra, but they are both dual slot anyway (except for asus one but asus is yuck)).
1- Buy an x800xt aiw now while there is a $50 rebate.
2- wait until end of summer when new cards come out and prices on current cards drop (hopefully) and then either buy a new generation card agp variant, or get now-lower-priced x800xt aiw.
3- Wait even longer til like after thanksgiving day sale and get a card that goes on sale for insanely cheap then.
so wot's uhh the deal?
what should i do?
