Hi, I'd like to sound-proof my case, but I'm not sure what to use for materials.

I'm thinking that I would need to have a layer of material on each of the inside sides, including underneath the motherboard tray.

Of course, I could use different material for each different side, so it doesnt have to be a one-size-fits-all kinda deal.

Also, If I want Silent fans, could someone recommend a brand?

So far the best sound insulator I have seen is Dynamat Extreme or Brown Bread. They do weigh a bit, and cost a lot, but they will silence a PC. Good silent fan brands are: Silenx, Papst and Panaflo.

Stealths aren't really that good. I reciently got some of the silenX 14db fans, fucking awesome

They're also cheaper than SilenXs. It's all a matter of needs. I myself would go for SilenX, but not everyone has the same expectations.
