from cosmicdallas on ebay, I need some help choosing between the p1110, and the p992. they have the same aperture grill pitch, and can do the same resolutions at the same refresh rates. the p1110 is $30 more shipped.
 
I see exactly 0 listings for a P1110- there are several P1100's listed. The difference between the monitors you are looking at is that one is 19" and the other is 21"- not sure why this is a hard decision, the 21" should support higher refresh rates, provided it's of a similer generation to the 19". What these screens can actually do I do not know, but I do know that they are a) heavy as hell and b) generate quite a bit of heat. On the other hand, the .24 screens were the sharpest ones made for general consumption, you will still have to spend much more for better- but I can attest that screens running at that dot pitch are sharp.

Background information helps, like what the F you want a used, space heating paperweight for, and what you're hooking it up to. These screens support resolutions that are still challanging for today's best GPU's when running current games.
 
I meant p1100, p1110 was a typo, the monitors support the same resolutions and refresh rates, and I wanted a new monitor because my current one sucks, and I will actualy save money by buying one of these and returning my current POS. I don't plan on having to move the monitor often so the weight doesn't really matter, I have enough space for the monitor, and these are high quality monitors that are cheaper than I can buy crappy ones. I wanted a large monitor because I plan on upgrading my computer soon, and it will be able to handle games at high resolutions.
 
Well, these are better than anything made today, mostly because everyone makes LCD's now- and these are far cheaper.Weight matters for LAN parties, heat matters for keeping to room cool- your room will bew warmer.

But given that none of this matters, I'd go with the 21"- bigger is easier to see.
 
Yea, if you can do it go 21" for sure man!

I have a 13 year old 21" monitor personally and is still ok. I'd rather use it than many 17" monitors i've seen.

Watch out for shipping expenses on these CRTs though because they weigh a heck of a lot and will probably cost quite a bit to ship which may raise that price higher than you were anticipating.
 
i'v been waiting for free shipping deals, and the 21 inch monitor, I found the users manual online and it said the monitor had a .27 stripe pitch
