advice on choosing a 24''

Hi,
I am ready to add a second monitor to my setup. I have a Gateway 24'' 1920x1200 (for 4-5 years now).

I really do not want to spend too much money on it. My primary use is coding, internet browsing and some (not so much) gaming.
My priorities is text clarity and colour reproduction (I am asking too much :) ).

I started looking around and I really do not to go to something more expensive than
Dell P2411H. Another option I am looking to is Samsung S24A350H.
Al these monitors are 1920x1080. What are your suggestions? Is there an alternative I should consider?

The more I am reading and thinking about it I end up with the following two:
- Dell UltraSharp U2410 24''
- Dell UltraSharp U2311H

Other than the price / size / inputs / resolution is there a major difference on the
quality of the panels and the output image?
