Advice on Camcorder

I was all set on getting a Canon VIXIA HF M40 camcorder a few years back but never did, I just had a baby and want to get a camcorder now. I went to Amazon and wanted to see what the replacement was for the M40 but there are like half a dozen new Canon camcorders:

Canon VIXIA HF R500
Canon VIXIA HF G20
Canon VIXIA HF R52
Canon VIXIA HF R400 HD

I am not interested in an entry level camcorder, which one should I get and what is the difference between all of those?
 
honestly, they are all good cameras, the G20 being the best of the bunch but also more than twice the price. has better optics and sensor and 32GB onboard memory, but for general purpose shooting, I don't think you will notice the difference.
I'd look at the R52 as my first choice.
