I have two machines that I am running and have been wondering for awhile now if it would be feasible to run blu ray through them... both systems are running on a monitor and also connected to tvs...i am thinking of getting an internal blu ray drive (preferably with dvd/cd writer capability) and mount that to an enclosure (vantec dx) and run them back and forth between the systems if they're capable of doing so... do i need to upgrade parts, let me know thanks!
system 1
phenom x3 710 2.6ghz
4gb ram
ati 4830 (running hdmi to tv)
bfg 550 psu
asus cm motherboard *forgot the model*
system 2
sg05 w/ stock 300w psu
intel dual core 3.2ghz
4gb ram
zotac h55 motherboard
*no graphics card installed... planning on xfx 5450 / 5670 are either of these decent enough for playback...
i think system 2 might be a reach haha but would there be anyway for it to make it work out ... i would think i get away with installing the gpu and im good but im not sure haha
i think the first one would probably be plug and play
