I found the perfect laptop, I was about to buy it till I found out that it has a TN panel instead of IPS.

This is the laptop: MSI GL72M 7RDX-800

https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GL72M-7R...1516836486&sr=1-1&keywords=MSI+GL72M+7RDX-800

  • Display: 17.3" Full HD eDP Non Reflection1920x1080 | Operating System: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-7700HQ (2.8-3.8GHz)
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA's GTX 1050 2G GDDR5
  • RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400MHz | Hard Drive: 128GB SSD M.2 SATA + 1TB (SATA) 5400rpm
The best part is that it is $743.

So my question to you gents is:

Is there a similar 17" laptop to the one I just listed above with an IPS panel? I would prefer a refurb or used to save some money.

Acer Nitro Series. If you want budget. 17", 7700HQ, Gtx 1060, IPS panel, thunderbolt 3 port. You can find them for around $1100 for the 17.3" and $950-$1000 for the 15" versions.

I agree with KarsusTG. The little bit of extra money is worth it to bump up to the gtx1060 with 6gb of dedicated ram. If you could go 15" you can get the Acer Predator Helios 300 or the EVGA SC15 as well.
