Advice needed...

hey does my motherboard matter? because im getting a new MB

OK well cursory review of your other posts it seems you have a new graphics card?
and are getting a new mobo?
and you likely dont want to replace that PSU with a compatible model
but rather get a computer together with a standard ATX12V (PS\2 form factor) supply
which im pretty sure that emachine one isnt (hard to say without further research)
but its certainly underpowered for any great number of upgrades

why dont you expand on your plans for me in this thread ;)
you should be able to build a pretty good box for $750

You would be better off to purchase another case as well as another power supply. I don't think you're going to find much in the way of higher wattage PSUs in that size. A co-worker of mine has an e-machine XP3200+ box. When he upgraded the video card, added more memory, different mobo, another HDD he also had to up the PSU and we couldn't seem to find one over 300watts in the same form factor.

Of course, you could just whip out the dremel and mod your case to accept a larger PSU. But it would probably be easier to just pick up a cheap case and good PSU and migrate everything.

My two cents. :)
