1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, Occaisional encoding / rendering, Occaisional Virtualization.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$600 CDN Including taxes and shipping, before rebates.
3) Where do you live?
London, Ontario Canada
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
Motherboard, CPU, RAM, case, GPU, HDD, PSU, capture card (if not now, later). 2.1 speakers.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
*PS/2 Keyboard, USB mouse, combo drive.
6) Will you be overclocking?
Considering it.
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
currently have a 1024*768 LCD, but am planning on getting a higher resolution monitor (19, 20 inch) after this build
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Tommorow, or more likely next week
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
yes.
Windows xp / vista / 7RC, linux
32 or 64 bit

Post-build I'll have probably 200 max for a monitor, something above 1280*800, size isn't that much of a concern.

The only local supplier i know of is at http://megacomputer.ca , they have an online catalogue and I've heard that they can order parts, and may potentially price match. I'm willing to order online but would prefer to just go and buy parts directly.

Any advice appreciated.

Best build I came up with some things on sale. I like NCIX personally because I use them for my stuff and they always have sales going on. Right now they have some good ones.

With taxes, shipping to me (I live in K-W) and current sales it came to $620ish

you'll need a different cpu, as the 5xxx series doesn't support virtualization.

Thank you for your replies.

I currently have the following without a PSU
Code:
Gigabyte MA74GM-S2 [COLOR="Red"]$80.99[/COLOR]
Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 512MB [COLOR="Red"]$155.99 [/COLOR]
AMD Athlon X2 7750 Black Edition - 2.70GHz [COLOR="Red"]$87.99[/COLOR]
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS - 500GB [COLOR="Red"]$69.99[/COLOR]
OCZ Fatal1ty 4GB Dual Channel PC8500 DDR2 1066MHz (2x2048MB) [COLOR="Red"]$64.99[/COLOR]
Antec Three Hundred Gaming Case [COLOR="Red"]$79.08[/COLOR]
TOTAL (after tax, shipping, before rebates) 619.17

I'll see if I can squeeze that down a bit, but I'm probably going to be a bit over 600 anyways.

for about 10 bucks more I would get a HD 4870 with GDDR 5 memory and free game :]

I don't beleive I'm eligible for that deal due to my location. And I think that's in USD, so that's about $40 more CDN.

edit:

Samson505, thank you for making me reconsider NCIX, it seems I stand to save quite a bit, assuming i do order before the 19th.
Anyways, here's my revised all NCIX build coming to $603.98 after shipping + tax.
