what are the best wired routers these days? ($70-100)
it can include wireless also but the main priority is using it with cat6 cables

something that you can leave alone uploading for a few days and it wont need to be constantly reset
thanks!

Resetting is based on your ISP's quality. If you buy a 10/100/1000 it should be just fine. You ISP is not providing anything higher than a 10mb quality link.

I'd go with a DLink DIR-655 for about $65. I have 4 for two wireless networks, but each also has 4 Gb LAN connections, been going around two years with no problems.

i think a router can die if you spam it with too many connections, or for too long. definitely seems like something degrades in a router over time and only gets fixed with a reset
