Alright, this is the system that I currently have at school:

P4 2.8B 533mhz FSB
512mb(256x2) ddr333 sdram
integrated video and sound
80gb sata hdd
250W power supply

This computer does everything I could ever want it to do for school, however, while I am at school I would like to be able to play games once in a while. I was thinking about upgrading to 1gb ddr400 kingston value ram and a 6600GT AGP. Any advice against this action? thanks

Yeah, Thats a pretty good upgrade. You will be able to play all games at pretty respectable settings :)

If i could get a fair amount of fps at 1024x768 (60ish), that would be more then enough. It would be better than what I get at the moment. :p thanks guys

..ruh roh ..you gots an agp slot on that mobo with integrated video?
