advantage edition?

what is an "advantage edition" of the 9800se? i've been on the search for a mediocre video card to replace my dads ti4200 and ive really got my eye on the 9800se and hoping to softmod to 9800pro'ish.. i noticed on newegg that there is the regular 9800se, and the 9800se advantage.. whats the difference, anyone know? I searched the forums/googled, and got nothin..
 
To my knowledge, there never was an "advantage edition." It was probably just something that one of the card manufacturers stuck on their cards to make it seem cool. :cool:
 
i thought that maybe it was their way of saying that it was softmod'able.. i heard from somewhere that there was a company in germany that pre-tested the se's to make sure they would sucessfully softmod.. and was selling them at somewhat of a higher price.. think its a connection?
