I have an ASUS DSL-N10 modem
No LEDS are on, except only for ADSL LED. I get 169.x.x.x IP address
However, my ADSL LED flickers slow and then fast and then stays on constant, so it manages to Synch.
This is the only indicator light i have which is operational. The rest are not even lighting up.
When I turn on the modem i see the Power light flicker very quickly along with the adsl light, they flicker ONLY once.
If i wait a bit , the only light flickering is the ADSL LIght and then it stays on contantly.
This is so weird, i have never dropped my modem and never used it whilst it would rain or thunder.
I have tried the Firmware Restoration utility , BUT it does not work, it searches for Wireless connection counts until 30 seconds, Sadly it does not connect,
Sadly the procedure says to press the RESET button in and hold it whilst you plug in the power plug, then yu supposed to wait for the Power LED to flash
so that you know it is in a recovery mode.
However with me not being able to see any lights i do not see the power led flash.
What else can i do ?
