Adobe After Effects v6.0 - I need some basic tutorials or help, please.

Well, I've been using Premiere for awile now, and it's always done everything I've need; but I've gotten to the point where I really need to sit down and learn After Effects.

Unfortunatly, no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to learn it by simply using the program; not even the basics.

Anyway, I was hoping someone here could help me find some good tutorials on the basic options and such, or just go over some general stuff in this thread.

I would recommend signing up for the Adobe Studio they have a lot of tutorials and downloads.

Also Creative Cow has a good after effects forum and quite a bit of tutorials.

The way I learned the basics was by buying a couple books.

After Effects Hands on Training by Lynda Weinman was pretty good. The one I have is for 5.0/5.5 but they have one for 6 that is pretty much the same but with stuff on the new features.
