Adjusting Aero's window fade

I've started to tweak my RC2 install, forcing Aero, readyboost. One thing that I'd like to adjust but can't find any information on is the time it takes for windows to fade in and out. I really like this effect, but I would like to speed it up.
 
Found this thread completely by accident via Google and would like to know the same thing.
 
Notice the OP was in 2006! I don't know of any way to speed up the visual effects though; if they were much shorter they'd be hard to see at all, in my opinion. I only know of a way to slow them down!
 
Ah, yeah... my mistake, usually I do note the OP dates when I load a thread... geez. I'm getting old - my 41st birthday is Friday, and I have plenty of gray hair to prove it. ;)
