Hey jsut got my cable internet hooked up thur adelphia, got ther new 4mbps line, with 512 upload...its pretty quick, i ran DLS reports line speed test and pulled 3320\490..... not bad guys... :)
 
just hope your connection doesnt go apeshit after a couple months.


mine does it regularly.


otherwise its nice and fast :)

yea for real...

I had SBC and Verizon..both were so bad with holding a soild connection speed... I also had a local Wireless DSL connection, it was stabel as hell, but slow..I held 600Kbps/130Kbbs no probels but no faster no slower....
 
I got Adelphia Cable too.

I had 3.0/384 but then it got bumped up. Not sure if my download went up to 4.0 but I know the upload went to 512. It sure doesnt feel like it.

Getting stuff off of my FTP is so slow.
 
I've got the Adelphia premier also. Lemme chex da speed.

I used to have 1.5mbit vdsl from the local telco. Being able to max the upstream and downstream the same time (both at like ~190kB) was pretty nice. I just wish they had a faster down.

I would do alot of things just to get 1Mbit upload speed at home.... :eek: :D

hope the cable works out well for ya though, I know I love mine!
