Hi all,

I've got a bit of a conundrum.I made a slipstream install of Windows XP Pro SP3 and removed the microsoft games from install disc.

Fast forward, I installed in on my mom's computer but now she's asking for solitaire.

I went to Windows Components Wizard to add it back but the 'Games' just doesn't appear on the 'Components' list at all any more. Does anyone know what I can do to put solitaire back on the XP install?

Any help would be great, thanks.

LOL??

Seriously aren't there thousands of free solitaire games that she can play online??

Can you use a regular CD of the same version and type? That should work. This is one of many reasons why I am others wouldn't touch nLite or vLite with a ten foot pole.

Creature of habit I suppose. I still have to reinstall games from the Microsoft Best of Entertainment pack (Taipei and Tetris) for her.

Just copy sol.exe over and i think cards.dll from another pc and create a shortcut for it. It doesnt require anything else to install.
