Adding Ram question....

yea, so ive got 2 sticks of 512 pc3200 ddr400 in my pc already as listed in my sig. specs. and im wondering if theres gonna be any kind of problem or conflict with adding 2 sticks of some 'samsung pc3200 ddr cl3' 184 pin 256mb sticks. dont think there should be any problem.. but ive heard of some conflicts and compatibility issues when adding in different ram. guess the best way is just to stick it in and see if the comp boots without any issues.

If you do it then your best bet is to download Memtest86 onto a floppy or bootable CD and run it after you have installed the new sticks.
This will show up any incompatability between the sticks.
I found out the hardway it better to do this first and not after some random BSOD.
I would also memtest/benchmark your system with each pair in the first set of slots to see if it runs better one way around or the other.
