Adding More Connections

My house is wired with a box in my garage that has my cable modem and wifi router in it. I have a pc upstairs in my media room using the only connection in there. I am needing to connect at least 1 more thing (xbox 360) via wire if not a couple more. If i were to get a network switch and connect it to the wall connection and run the pc, 360, etc through the switch, will they get internet access?
