If i buy a new computer, can i put the hard drive from my current computer in the new one as a second hard drive and still have access to all of my games, files, etc? I am trying to help a friend get around the 6hr process of updating wow for a new rig.

Thanks

Globe

PS: sorry if that was hard to understand

Probably with files, but probably not with games unless you reinstall them. Windows needs to add a registry entry in order to be able to "see" the program. However, in my experience with doing similar things, usually games perform a reinstall instead of a full install, which means A) it doesn't take very long, and B) you get to keep your saved games and profiles (usually - I'm not promising anything). Just make sure you point the install location to where the root game file is at on the old drive.
