most motherboards should have mor than one 3 pin (like 3 or 4) slot so more fans can be added right?

it all depends on the make and model of the motherboard. 1 for CPU fan and 1 for case is normal for a motherboard.

i bought some crap dell system. I'll try to chech the documentation. If i cant find that can i use a serial # on my motherboard to find out the type? my case is kinda weird i have 1 cas fan that cools the psu too (uses a simple duck to direct the air to the cpu). this method might not be the cooles but its defintly quiet

On a Dell I can guarantee you that a normal 3-pin fan cannot connect to the motherboard. Dell uses a proprietary connector and different pinout. Plus the boards usually don't have more fan connectors than there are fans in the case from the factory except in the case of some of the PowerEdge servers and possibly PowerVault storage devices. You're better off just getting a 4-pin fan and connecting it to the PSU. And good luck mounting that thing since they really don't take into account people wanting more fans.
