welll that main hard drive in our windows 2003 server is full and i need mroe room on the main drive..

what is the better option?

add another hard drive and run in raid?
or
transfer data to a new bigger hardrive?

additional info,
its an old server so i dont know if it has a built in raid controller.
the harddrive is ony a 40gig so its not big at all and i will praobly move to like a 320gig
only has 2 hard drives in it right now a 40 main and a 200 for the server.

thanks doug

i will find out if its ide or sata....
also i was wondering if i buy a new hard drive can i just plug it in as an extra hard drive than just copy all the info from the primary over to the new one. then shut it down and put the new one and just take the old one out?

if you use the `right' program, that should work.

I'm not sure about HDClone; however, in the past I've used the free program DriveImage XML to make images and duplicate drives with great success.
