K, i've installed a new internal hard drive into my acer laptop.. I see it in the bios, I even can see it under device manager in windows 7.. But I cannot see the damn drive in windows explorer.. Now here is my goofy retarded you can tell i'm outta the loop question... How do I access this drive and assign it a letter/format etc? This is all modern stuff Sata etc..Im just having a retarded moment and cannot seem to figure out how to get windows to start using the drive.. And, if someone wonders.. It had no manual.. It is the Hitachi 2.5 inch 500 gigabyte drive new egg had on sale recently for 59.95..

Right click my computer > Manage > Disk Management > Right click on the drive and click "Change Drive Letter and Paths". Lemme know if that works.
 
Got it! It is indeed a bit different than what I remember :) Thanks i'll be asking again in two years when I can afford to buy more upgrades!!
