So, take a thin piece of metal/plastic, drill a hole in it, insert a 3.5mm jack into the hole and boom: done. Sadly, I can't find the jack. I'd prefer female to female but if the inside half were male that would work just fine. Closest I can find is this: http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/27-5937&scode=GS111&CAWELAID=838522564 but the mounting bezel on it is a hex which is a little uglier than I'd hoped and it has some bad reviews about the sound quality not being very good. All the others I've found are like this: http://www.altex.com/35mm-Stereo-Female-to-Female-Bulkhead-Adapter-Nickel-30-295-P139157.aspx which is basically perfect except the visible part sticks out like a half inch and I'd like it to be fairly flush against the front panel. Anyone know of such an item? There's RCA, coax, and bare-wire ones all over the place, just can't find a good 3.5mm.
