Ive got a spare hdd from my previous pc lying around.
It has win 98 installed on it and i want to make it empty and usable on my current pc as a 2nd hdd
So how do i do this? :confused:

On the drive, set the jumper to "Slave" and then plug it into your computer (make sure that your primary drive is on "master").

Once you do that, it should detect properly and boot into windows normally. Once there, go to My Computer and right-click on the new hard drive, go to Format. After formatting, it'll be empty and you can do whatever you want with it.
