Hi all, been a while. Is there anything to be gained by doubling up on my vid card? Really don't have any complaints with my setup. Been playing BF3 since it came out and recently went through Farcry3

Not sure what I'll do next, game wise.

Talking about system 1 of course

A 2nd 560Ti? I would think that would come down to what price you could acquire the 2nd card for.

But unless you're talking about getting a 2nd one dirt-cheap used, I think you would be better off going for a single newer card now.

There is nothing to be afraid of when it comes to SLI, I'm talking more about the age of the hardware and it's performance vs what is available today.

You won't be limited by your motherboard in any way; any videocard should work. Your motherboard most likely has PCIe 2.x slots, whereas most newer cards are PCIe 3.0, but they are backward compatible and it should not represent a bottleneck.
