Add/Remove Programs causes system restart.

On one of the machines at the place i work, an employees machine will reboot 4/5 times when running add/remove programs on Win2k. I have run memtest for a while and i have run prime95 for a while just to test stability and it doesn't seem to do anything to the system. The employee says that he hasn't seen any other program cause this.. any idea what could be happening?
