add/remove program wont load list

Today I purchased a new mouse, and when i opened the add or remove program from the control panel to remove my old drivers it wouldn't load the list of installed programs... :mad:
All it says is: "Please wait while the list is being populated" :confused:
Is there anyway i can force the intellieye software to uninstall so i can at least use my new mouse till i get around to reformating my system?

(my system is a P4 running Windows XP pro sp2)
