Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
my p3 800mhz cpu is shown at 600mhz at startup....its a 133fsb but i have my jumpers set to 800 and my fsb jumper set to 100mhz since i have pc100 ram. would this cause it? by the way i flashed my bios to the lasted update
I believe some chipsets can run PC100 memory even with a 133 bus.
You might want to check your manual and see what options you have on memory timings in your bios.
Another trick is to increase the voltage on the memory, that usually allows it to clock much higher.
thanks guys i really appreciate the help, i changed it to 133mhz fsb and the ram cache latency time or somethin i changed from 2 to 3 because it would say windows protection error please restart your computer when it was on 2. im up and running on this computer as we speak at 798mhz. thank you all!
