Hey ya,

I have a really nice gaming rig built (wolfdale e8400) 4 gigs of ram ect.....

but i still have a 7800gt, i am getting ready to buy a new video card and I want to splurge.

Okay, I am a gamer and this needs to be diablo 3 ready and I play on 2, 19 inch Viewsonic flat panels. but i usually just have a browser on in dual view.

However i use both in wow and I for once in my life want to play with my video settings as high as they go (no jaggies, high texture) and not worry about it.

what is the guru's recomendation?

I am open to radeon but i really want physx for D3

Where'd you get the idea D3 uses PhysX? All reports are that it uses Havok which runs solely on your CPU.

In terms of running D3 comfortably maxed out on 2 19" panels nobody knows what it would take until the game is released. Your safest bet right now is to go for the fastest single-GPU card you can afford since there's no guarantee that D3 will be supported well for dual-GPU setups.

so 19" would 1400 by 900 or 1280 by 1024 I assume. If all your gaming on is one at a time I can't see you needing anything but a 4850 512mb card. you could even get away with less
