According to Reuters, Activision has agreed to buy Dublin-based DemonWare, a provider of network middleware technologies for games, to strengthen its online multiplayer development capabilities.
DemonWare will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Activision after the transaction, which is expected to close by the first quarter of 2008, the video game publisher said in a statement.
