This is my second attempt at WC and the first really wasn't an attempt but rather a prebuilt one from zalman the reserator plus. But that system was quickly loosing its performance and was looking at upgrading. When i saw the x1800 gto's and the new DFI UT CFX3200 now available i jumped on the boat and got two x1800 gto's ( in the anticipation of dongless/master cardless xfire) but i come to the conlusion that my zalman reserator plus would NOT be up to the task of cooling those future OC'd cards and my new opty 165 so i started thinking....what better way for the Resorator to be used as it was functioned normally as. It cools passively ( very quiet which is why i got it) and the pump is housed outside making more room for airflow. But I am back to the same problem of cooling so i came up with this...

Loops is Reserator>cpu>Reservoir>Gpu WB>Reservoir>Gpu WB. Except for the Zalman Cpu WB and the reserator the rest is Danger Den. Still breaking in and everything seems to be working great. I would like feedback. Good or bad if i don't hear it from all perspectives it won't get better.

Looks good, but i think the reserator is Al, & if thats the case then the copper in the 2 radiators & the 2 vga blocks won't react that well with the rest of your setup.

A very nicely built setup.

But are you sure your flow rates are good? There's alot more restriction in that loop from the extra components, it might be a problem.

Yeah i doubt a reservator pump can handle that loop, flow is gonna die...

What temps do you get?

well im in WOW right now and my temps are 35 c cpu, 42 c for vid cards, 42 c inside case. And the question about flow. The flow indicator thats provided with the zalman setup shows very good flow rate. I can always put a external pump in the chain.

isn't the zalman waterblock copper based anyway? so galvanic corrosion must have already been thought of by Zalman. I'm not sure about it but wouldn't having the aluminium anodized act like a barrier against galvanic corrosion?

Did some fruther testing and correcting some dumbfounded mistakes i now have
CPU = 30c
PWM = 35c
Chipset 35 c
Gpu's 36 c Load 39 to 40c
That is stock speeds but i did try ccc overclock got up to 595/590 and the temps were still 39 c

Im pretty sure they use aluminum, and you can anodize but i'm not sure if it will help because i've always heard to never mix Al and Cu in a system

The outside might look like alum but the contact plate is copper. In fact in the pic you can see the copper outline on the bottom of the block.

My bad, i was just assuming the reserator was Al, guess that makes me an ass

I just checked Zalman's website the reserator is pure anodized alum but the cpu block is copper. They must have done preventative measure's to prevent corrosion. If the entire setup was alum based i would be really worried. But I am still going to watch it and check it from time to time. And no harm no foul like i said at my begining post i want to hear all aspects of this setup.
