Ack, using computer audio for wii. Alittle confused

So I bought a nintendo wii and I want to hook it up to my LCD, but I'm not quite sure what to do with the red and white audio cables. I have the pretty cheap Logitech X-230s.

Somehow I need to get an audio-in source to my computer right? then the audio can go out through the speakers, yes?

Any help would be appreciated thanks!
 
Yeah, unless I'm missing something you won't need that female-female adapter you posted. Your soundcard probably has a line-in that is just that mini-jack, in which case the first cable you posted should work just fine!
