I agree, i would go with something with a good name, quality made PSU. Im sure it past all their tests, but it has been said MANY times that most reviewers DO NOT test the PSU as it should be tested....they just throw it in a machine, plug it fans and lights, boom it works it average....if it doesnt spike here or there, then its above average.

I tried out a Ultra, but from all the nightmare stories I heard, i returned it and got a good PSU (new revision Antec TP430w)

I would stick with a good name PSU, you have a nice machine there and would hate to have generic PSU in there. Just not safe, it might work, but would be safer to just get something better.

Transformer, heatsinks: same size as a 300-350W Antec's.

High voltage capacitors: half as big as those in quality 350-500W PSUs; more the size of those in quality 200-250W PSU's.

EMI filter capacitors: The two tiny brown disks in front of the donut coil wrapped in red and white wire are connected between high voltage and ground but are not safety certified for this.

Fry's currently has a 300W Antec with SK1600 case for $15 after rebate. It's probably more powerful.

I've installed 7 of those Achieve 500w PSs in different systems I've built, including a couple of my computers. The oldest one installed being about 3 years now, and every one of them is still running great. I'd call that PS the hidden gem because it's comparable to more expensive PSs, yet costs a lot less. Some people won't use it simply because of it's cost.
