Acer XB280HK release?

OCUK says that it is "Overdue" on the ETA. But all I have heard is sometime in October.

On that subject, do you have to pay VAT if you're importing a purchase from a store in the U.K.? Thinking about pulling the trigger on a PG278Q from them...
 
Gibbo says "maybe" next week for a release. He's been pestering both Acer and NVIDIA for a response.

On page 3 of that thread there was talk of a Gsync module shortage... You would think that with all these manufacturers interested in making and distributing Gsync-equipped monitors that the supply chain for them would at least be sufficient for the demand...
