Has anyone heard much about this monitor? I had a look at one in the local shop and it seemed quite nice. Having a hard time finding reviews of it, however.
Any tips? I might go pick it up and give it a try if the return policy is solid.
 
It is a TN panel. Im guessing comparable to the Samsung 245B. See if you can find a Acer AL2423W or AL2416W for cheap. Both of these use much better P-MVA panels.
 
is the BenQ FP241W a better display than all of the above? its around the same price range in general.
 
the P238W has a 3000:1 contrast ratio. How does this compare to these other monitors 1000:1 contrast ratio's panels?

Both of these are replaced by WB editions with TN panel ;)

It's called measurment magic. The big jump in contrast ratio is just changed version of settings at which it's measured.
 
is the BenQ FP214W a superior monitor to all of the above listed? There is one available at a nearby shop.
