Acer mobo drivers! Help!

I reformatted a pc for a friend but he no longer has any of the drivers discs. I used Sandra2k5 and it said i have the Acer ALi 1631 ver1.5B mobo. Can anyone find the PCI drivers for this? I'v looked everywhere and can't find anything. My device manager says I need the driver for PCI simple communications controller. I tried putting a wireless adpter in and it wont work so i assume thats the prob. Any info or help is much appreciated. thanks a lot!
 
If you installed XP or 2000, you have the most up to date drivers available. That sounds like the description of some sort of winmodem, which you would need drivers for.

Did you load the drivers for the wireless NIC?
