Acer G245H problems - seeking advice

Started this thread to discuss if any other Acer G245H users were having this problem. I mean this is my first Acer I dunno what their standards are.

so has anyone ever seen anything like that then? I'm also curious what it is, I've never seen anything like that. I've seen dead pixels.
I made that to kinda describe what I was seeing on my Acer G245H since the sucky camera wasn't picking it up.

I mean it doesn't look like a dead pixel does it. It's like 2 round dots close together. Hard to see usually unless I'm working in photoshop or browsing. And small but not as small as a dead pixel like a blemish... always the same colour as their surroundings just brighter.

It can be quite annoying at times, the only colour it doesnt show up on is black (it even shows up brighter than white)

I just got this monitor today, do you think that coupled with a strip of thick backlight bleed top and bottom that show up in broad daylight, is grounds to return it for replacement?
 
I'm the only one on here I believe who owned the G245, mine was the best TN I've ever tested. Seems like you just got a faulty unit, I would send it back.
 
Oh yeah you were right on the image quality, it blows the px2370 away over hdmi... hopefully they can replace it with an awsome one. Because I really love this monitor and I reckon without that insane amount of backlight bleed and the ugly bright splotch maring the image it'd be amazing. I loaded the new transformers game up on the 360. Optimus actually looks muted red and blue, not muted red and purple like it did on my faulty px. Bumblebee looks real yellow and not sickly yellow. It was great. And the image was popping without looking oversaturated or undersaturated. Loved it.

I was more curious than anything, I thought TN panel dead pixels were either white, red, green or blue but that takes on a brighter shade of whatever colour is around it and its roundish rather than square. Thought it was dirt on the screen at first.

I'm just not very experienced sending them back. just I'm scared that they are going to say its an acceptable fault and try and say its a dead pixel, when they test it. How do you guys get around people doing that accross you? ebuyer.com are way too thorough on their defects policy
