Hey guys,
I am working on re-installing vista on a friends laptop. She has deleted the recovery partition, and has no install media. I have a vista home premium 64-bit cd that I was able to install with, using my key. Hers will not validate when we enter it on the install screen, cannot figure out why.
I am unable to locate the proper 64-bit drivers for this laptop, most of it is 32-bit. I need to have this fixed ASAP, so having Acer send out the install media is out of the question.
If I were to "locate" a vista home premium 32-bit cd and install with that + her key, and re-install the drivers etc...it'd be okay right?
