Acer aspire v3 build quality

I am considering two options for my next laptop. I am torn between a sager 6658 and an Acer Aspire V3-772G-7616. I am almost set on the Acer, but I was wondering if anyone here with recent experiences with it (especially the Aspire v3) can tell me about their build quality.

My last experience with an Acer it was made of really cheap plastic. The latch that kept the laptop closed broke within a year of purchase, for example. Most online reviews don't say much about the build, other than it is plastic.

However, only a 850M at $1200? Seems a little expensive. Have you seen the 4K Y50s?

Yes, I've seen the Y50s. But for what I do, a nice ssd is a higher priority than a nice graphics card. So the Y50 with a 256gb and an 860m is about 100 dollars more than an acer with a 256gb ssd and an 850m (1279 vs 1149 at newegg to be precise). I don't game enough for that to be worthwhile.

It also has a 4K display which is pretty awesome.

But the Acer is a fine computer if you're not gaming a lot.
