Apr 20, 2007 #2 F fcuk n00b Joined Jun 27, 2002 Messages 60 You can't detach the base. The base contains the power/menu buttons along with the connections in the back, if you ever detached it you would have no way to connect or power it on unless your an electrical engineer and rig it.
