accuracy of temp programs

basically, i am concerned with the huge difference in core temps from these programs. HW monitor has my core temps at 51°c, while coretemp has them at 36°c. core temp is also saying that I have a 600mhz overclock on my e6850 when i have just a 200mhz overclock (thats why i have the cpuz screenie there). im more inclined to believe HW monitor readout purely on the basis that coretemp has such an incorrect readout for my overclock (even though it has nothing to do with the temp readout).
Can someone let me know which one is the more accurate one, or even recommend me another program i could try?

i would trust your bios (and cpu-z) on the core speed...

as for temps hardware monitor has the bug (well not bug, just doesnt calculate the tjunction right on it) of adding +15C so it should be more like the 36C reading (36+15=51, hence the 51C)

I think there is a more recent version of coretemp available - try that (0.96 maybe, can't remember the version).
