Accidentally cleaned drivers.

I accidentally cleaned my ATI drivers. Now all of the advance options in "Display" are gone. I think I am still runnin gon the CAtalyst sinc eI can use my max res and I still have hte ATi icon in my System Tray. I could like to uninstall and then install the newest ones though since this is sort of weird that I cannot access all the options. I don't see anything to uninstall in my "Add/Remove Programs" list. How can I get rid of these drivers so I can reinstall?
 
Sounds like you just need to reinstall the Control Panel. If you run through the driver install and select to do a custom installation, you should be able to uncheck everything but the control panel, so only that is installed.

Ok I installed the control panel of the 5.1 even though I am on like 4.8 drivers. I still can't uninstall the drivers though. How would I go about upgrading if I can uninstall it through "Add/Remove Programs"...
 
It is weird that you still have the ATI icon etc even after doing the driver cleaner. Have you tried overlaying the newer drivers on top of the old ones, and then trying to do an uninstall and driver cleaner again? Then you can install the newer drivers properly.

He hasn't run driver cleaner. He just tried to install the control panel again. He needs to run driver cleaner and then do a complete re-install of the Catalyst drivers and CP.

Well I can't uninstall it the correct way. Should I just run Driver Cleaner anyways? I did that and I still have my actual drivers. Also when I try to overlay another driver onto it, it won't let me.
 
In my ATI folder, I have a "AtiCimUn.exe". What is that uninstaller for? I also have a "ATI - Software Uninstall Utility" in my ADd/Remove Programs list. I think that is for my ATI screeensaver though.

How do I get to use it as a program though? All I can access it under is to uninstall that program itself...
 
ATI Support sucks. E-mailed them my problem. They reply with links to FAQs which I previously read in order to email them. :eek:
